Paratransit is a convenient transportation program designed to assist older adults and individuals with disabilities by offering transportation services using taxis, buses, trains, and vans. To utilize this service, individuals must schedule their rides at least one day in advance, ensuring a seamless and timely pick-up. The program provides flexibility in payment options, including cash and checks, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. Pricing for the program is budget-friendly, with a general fare of $2.50 one way, and a discounted rate of $1.25 for seniors and individuals with disabilities. For routes requiring deviation, an additional $1.25 fee may apply.
