Flex is a convenient public transit program designed to meet the transportation needs of individuals in the community. With a general fare of $2.50 one way, it offers affordable travel options for older adults and individuals with disabilities, who can avail themselves of the discounted rate of $1.25 one way, with an additional $1.25 subsidy. To utilize the Flex program, riders are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for seamless transportation planning at least a few days before the intended travel date. Accepting payments in cash or by check, Flex ensures flexibility in payment options for its passengers. Flex provides shared rides along fixed routes, offering a cost-effective and environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Riders can expect curb-to-curb service, making it easier for them to reach their destinations safely and comfortably. Additionally, service animals are welcome on board, ensuring that all passengers can access and benefit from the program's transportation services.
