Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability.

The ADA Paratransit program offers convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults with disabilities who may not be able to use fixed-route public transportation services. Riders can book their trips at least one day in advance, ensuring they have a scheduled ride that meets their needs. The pricing for this program is structured based on the distance traveled, with rides within 3/4 mile of the regular fixed route costing $2.50 each way, and trips beyond that distance priced at $5.00 per ride. This paratransit service utilizes buses or trains to provide transportation, accommodating those with mobility challenges and ensuring they can travel safely. Riders can pay for their trips using various methods, including cash or check, making it accessible to individuals with different payment preferences. In addition, the program offers shared rides, allowing multiple passengers to travel together, reducing costs and promoting a sense of community among riders. When utilizing the ADA Paratransit program, passengers can expect curb-to-curb transportation, meaning they will be assisted from the pickup point to their destination. Service animals are also welcome on board, ensuring that riders can have their necessary companions with them during their travels. Overall, this program provides a vital service for older adults with disabilities, offering them a reliable and tailored transportation option to help them maintain their independence and access the community.
