Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Public Transportation program offers a variety of transportation options for older adults, including non-emergency medical transportation through taxis, public transit services via bus or train, and private rides in cars or vans. Riders can schedule their trips in advance, with options for on-demand or fixed-schedule services available. The program accepts various forms of payment, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. One of the key features of this program is its affordability, with fares starting at $1.00 per one-way ride for general riders. Additionally, there is a special offer where qualified individuals such as retired and honorably discharged veterans, disabled veterans, and individuals over 65 can obtain a free $5.00 ID for bus service. The program also provides assistance to riders with packages or bags, allows service animals on board, and offers door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation for added convenience. Whether older adults need to attend medical appointments, run errands, or simply get around town, the Public Transportation program aims to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services to meet their needs.
