Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Demand-Response transportation program offers a convenient non-emergency medical transportation solution for older adults. This program provides transportation through taxis within the public transit system, ensuring reliable and on-time service for riders. To utilize this program, older adults are required to schedule rides in advance, allowing for smooth coordination of travel plans. Riders have the flexibility to pay for the service through various methods, including insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, and Medicaid payments. With pricing based on travel distances, the program offers affordable rates for older adults. For trips within one county, the one-way fare is $3.50, while journeys crossing multiple counties are priced at $4 or $5 per one-way trip, depending on the number of county lines crossed. Additional county line crossings incur a nominal fee of $2. The program also provides paratransit services for individuals with mobility needs, ensuring they have access to transportation that suits their requirements. Additionally, the Demand-Response program offers door-to-door transportation, driver assistance with carrying packages, and allows riders to travel with service animals. This program is a valuable resource for older adults seeking a reliable and cost-effective transportation option to meet their medical and daily travel needs.
