Spec-Trans is a transportation program designed for individuals who need to schedule rides in advance, offering convenient and reliable service for older adults in the community. This paratransit program allows riders to book their transportation at least one day in advance, ensuring that their mobility needs are met in a timely manner. One of the key benefits of Spec-Trans is its affordable pricing, with rides costing $1.50 each. For added convenience, riders have the option to purchase a book of twenty tickets for $30.00. One of the advantages of Spec-Trans is its curb-to-curb transportation service, providing older adults with a seamless and stress-free travel experience. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring their service animals along for the journey, ensuring that they can access the transportation they need while maintaining their independence.
