If you are an older adult or person who has a disability, you can purchase tickets for Carson City’s public transportation system—Jump Around Carson (also called JAC)—at a reduced rate.

If you cannot use the regular bus service, JAC also offers ADA complementary paratransit service. This is a door-to-door service and must be arranged in advance. Additionally, older adults can register for a Senior Bus Pass and can get unlimited free rides on the regular, fixed-route bus system

How do I apply?

To get the free Senior Bus Pass or get rides from the paratransit service, you can fill out a registration form on the website. You can use your Medicare card to get reduced fare.
