If you live in Mecklenburg County, you may be able to get help with transportation from this program. In some cases, there is a fare for each trip. The program provides a variety of transportation services, including those:

To and from medical appointments for people with Medicaid
To and from medical appointments, paid employment, or grocery shopping for older adults
To and from certain rural areas for persons of any age
To and from Veterans Affairs hospitals and medical clinics for qualified veterans

How do I apply?

To apply for transportation funded by Medicaid, contact your Medicaid office. To apply for transportation for veterans, call the Veterans Service Office at 1-704-336-2102. For all other transportation services, call the Transportation Services Line at 1-704-336-4547.
