Learn More About This Program

Rural public transportation can help you get to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other important appointments. The state is divided up into 6 regions, and each region has different providers that offer transportation services. These services include:

  • Fixed-route bus services
  • Dial-a-ride services (rides that you can arrange in advance)
  • Curb-to-curb rides for older adults and people who have disabilities.

In most cases, there is a fare for each ride. Certain services are only for older adults and people who have disabilities, but most are available to everyone.

How do I apply?

For more information about how to use these services, including using regular bus routes and rides that you arrange in advance, call the office or visit the program website. Some programs require you to register in advance, and others do not.
