The Senior Transportation program offers convenient and reliable transportation services for older adults. This non-emergency medical transportation program utilizes taxis for public transit, ensuring older adults can easily get to their appointments and errands. Riders can schedule their trips in advance, with options for private rides and assistance with packages or bags.
Membership in the program includes the first three trips and subsequent rides are charged at a flat rate per round trip with an additional fee for extra stops. The program accepts various payment methods, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid. Riders have the flexibility to pay with cash, check, credit card, or pre-payment. Additionally, this paratransit service provides door-to-door transportation, allowing older adults to travel comfortably and independently. Whether it's a fixed route or on-demand scheduling, older adults can rely on this program for their transportation needs, always ensuring a safe and pleasant journey.
