How can this program help me?

The Property Tax Exemption for Disabled Veterans program gives you a tax exemption (tax break) if you are a qualifying veteran with a disability. It may help lower the amount of property tax you pay. You may receive an exemption on the property’s assessed (estimated) value. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in property taxes. The amount of the exemption is different from town to town.

How do I apply?

For information on how to apply, contact your local veterans' office.
