Delaware Elderly Disability Exemption Program
How can this program help me?
This program gives you a tax exemption (tax break) that can help reduce the amount of taxes you pay on your real estate. This benefit may lower the assessed (estimated) value of your home. The assessed value is the dollar amount used to decide how much you will have to pay in taxes. This program is offered in addition to your state’s Senior School Property Tax Credit.
How do I get help?
Please contact your local office in Kent County, New Castle County, or Sussex County to find out what programs are available and how to apply.
