The Medical Transportation program offers affordable transportation services for older adults living in Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Chamberlain, Rapid City, and Fort Mead. Riders can utilize this program to access medical appointments and other healthcare services, with pricing varying based on the location and day of the week. For instance, in Sioux Falls, Mitchell, and Chamberlain, Monday and Wednesday rides cost $75, while Tuesday and Thursday rides cost $25, with Friday rides priced at $75. In Rapid City and Fort Mead, the pricing is reversed, with Monday and Wednesday rides costing $25 and Tuesday and Thursday rides priced at $75. To utilize this program, older adults are required to book their rides a few days in advance. Payment can be made via check, pre-payment, or cash, providing flexibility for riders. Transportation is provided through vans, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for passengers.
