The Home Care with Incidental Transportation program offers convenient transportation services to older adults via car. Riders can schedule rides at least a few days in advance, with a pricing structure of $16.50 per hour (4-hour minimum) plus mileage charges. This program provides assistance with carrying packages or bags and accepts payment by check or cash. Riders are billed based on the distance traveled, ensuring fair pricing for each trip. Additionally, this program provides a helpful driver who can wait for the passenger while they run errands or attend appointments, offering door-to-door transportation for added convenience. By utilizing the Home Care with Incidental Transportation program, older adults can maintain their independence and easily access the transportation they need for various activities and appointments.
