PAAD offers help paying for your prescriptions drugs by covering the monthly premiums for certain Medicare Part D plans. You pay co-payments of $5 for each covered generic drug prescription and $7 for each brand-name drug prescription. In some cases, you may pay less for generic drugs if the prescription drug is less than the $5 PAAD co-payment.
