Prescription Advantage offers two types of prescription drug coverage:
- If you have Medicare, Prescription Advantage works with the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage to help you pay for your prescription drugs. Depending on your income and which Medicare Prescription Drug plan you are enrolled in, Prescription Advantage may help pay all or part of your co-payments. Prescription Advantage will also provide an out-of-pocket (what you pay for your prescriptions) spending limit. Once this limit is reached, Prescription Advantage will cover your co-payments for the remainder of the plan year.
- If you do not have Medicare, Prescription Advantage offers help paying for your prescription drugs. Depending on your income, you will pay a co-payment for prescription drugs and will have an annual out-of-pocket (what you pay for your prescriptions) spending limit and quarterly deductible. Once this annual out-of-pocket limit is reached, Prescription Advantage will cover co-payments for the rest of the plan year.
How do I apply?
To apply, print and fill out an application and send it to Prescription Advantage. Please send the completed application back to the program as instructed on the form.
