The Transportation Benefit Program connects older adults with convenient and reliable transportation services through the Senior Transportation initiative. Generous donations from the community help fund this program, allowing older adults to access car transportation services at no cost. When utilizing this program, older adults can enjoy the convenience of a dedicated driver who is happy to wait while they run errands or attend appointments. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that participants are safely transported to their desired destinations. To make the most of this valuable service, older adults are encouraged to book their rides at least one week in advance. By planning ahead, participants can secure their transportation needs and enjoy peace of mind knowing that their travel arrangements are taken care of. Whether it's a routine trip to the grocery store or a medical appointment, the Senior Transportation program is designed to provide older adults with the transportation support they need to maintain their independence and stay connected to their community.
