With a modest fare of $1.00 per one-way trip to essential locations like medical appointments, social service agencies, grocery stores, senior centers, and adult day care centers, this program ensures that older adults can access vital services without financial burden. For trips to other destinations such as hairdressers, barbershops, retail shops, malls, and restaurants, the fare ranges from $2.10 to $2.25 per one-way trip, providing flexibility for various travel needs.
As a paratransit program, Shared Ride requires riders to schedule their trips in advance, allowing for efficient coordination of transportation services.
