Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
Age Well Rides is a donation-based transportation program designed to provide convenient and reliable transportation services for older adults. This program offers car rides to older adults at no cost, although donations are welcomed to support the program's sustainability. In addition to transportation, Age Well Rides also offers assistance with carrying packages or bags, ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
To utilize this service, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, with at least a few days' notice to arrange for a driver. It's important to note that rides should be scheduled a minimum of 5 business days in advance to guarantee availability. By offering door-to-door transportation and accommodating additional needs such as package assistance, Age Well Rides aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and ensuring they can access essential services and resources in their community.
