The Senior Transportation program offers a convenient and reliable non-emergency medical transportation service for older adults in the community. This program utilizes taxis for transportation, and it is also integrated with public transit options such as buses and trains. Riders can schedule their rides in advance, with the flexibility of booking on-demand trips as well. The program accepts various forms of payment, including insurance, vouchers, donations, checks, credit cards, Medicaid, and cash. There are different pricing options available, including membership fees, flat fees, and pay-by-mile charges, with some rides offered free of charge. The program provides door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that older adults can travel comfortably to their destinations. In addition, riders can bring packages, bags, or service animals on board as needed. With the option for shared rides and dedicated private rides, the program suits a variety of transportation needs for older adults.
