The Volunteer Transportation program offers free transportation services to older adults through the generosity of volunteer drivers. Riders can schedule rides a few days in advance, allowing for flexibility in planning appointments, errands, or social engagements. The program operates using cars and vans for convenient curb-to-curb transportation. One of the key features of the Volunteer Transportation program is the option for drivers to wait for passengers during their appointments or errands, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Whether older adults need to visit the doctor, go shopping, or attend social activities, Volunteer Transportation aims to provide a reliable and supportive means of getting around the community.
