The Veterans Transportation Service offers convenient and cost-free transportation for older adults who are veterans. This program provides rides via bus or train and allows passengers to schedule their rides a few days in advance. This service is designed to assist veterans in accessing essential services such as medical appointments, grocery shopping, or running errands. One of the key features of the Veterans Transportation Service is its curb-to-curb transportation, where a dedicated driver waits for the passenger to assist them with any needs they may have. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring their service animals along for the journey.
