Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are a veteran. No membership is required.

The Veteran's Vehicle Transportation to Altoona & Pittsburgh VA Medical Center program offers older adults convenient and no-cost transportation services to access medical care. Donations are accepted to support this valuable service. Riders can schedule shared van rides at no charge by booking at least three days in advance for curb-to-curb transportation to the VA Medical Centers in Altoona and Pittsburgh. This program aims to ensure that veterans have the necessary transportation to their medical appointments, providing peace of mind and eliminating the stress of finding transportation options. By offering this service free of charge, older adults can focus on their health and well-being without worrying about the logistics of getting to and from their medical appointments.
