Public Transportation - Fixed Route Service is a public transit program designed to provide older adults with a convenient and affordable way to travel around the area. The program follows a fixed route and operates on a regular schedule, offering reliable transportation services to its passengers. With a standard fare of $2.50 for a 2.5 hour pass, this program also provides a reduced rate of $1.25 for the same pass for individuals who are low income, 65 years or older, have Medicare, or have a disability. Payment can be made in cash or by check, offering flexibility to passengers. Additionally, pre-payment options are available for added convenience. Passengers have the opportunity to enjoy curb-to-curb transportation services, allowing for easy accessibility to desired locations. Service animals are permitted on board, ensuring that older adults with assistance animals can travel comfortably.
