Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Transportation Assistance Program is a convenient and accessible transportation service tailored to support older adults. This program caters to non-emergency medical transportation needs, providing rides via taxi or public transit. Riders can schedule their trips in advance, typically at least a day ahead. The program offers various payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and membership fees on a sliding scale basis for income-eligible individuals. Additionally, the program ensures flexibility by allowing on-demand scheduling and accepts payment methods like check, credit card, or cash. It offers door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and riders may bring service animals along. The program covers a range of services, including private rides, paratransit options, and shared rides through vans or public transportation like buses and trains. It aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults, providing reliable and safe transportation to meet various needs within the community.
