Please make sure to contact Care Team: Home Care to confirm details of their transportation services.

The Home Care program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults needing non-emergency medical transportation. Operating as a public transit program, it provides rides via taxis or private cars for those who schedule at least one day in advance and accept various forms of payment including insurance, vouchers, donations, and membership fees or flat rates. Additionally, the program accepts Medicaid payments and offers a paratransit service for individuals with special needs, ensuring assistance with packages or bags as well. Riders have the flexibility to schedule on-demand rides and benefit from shared transportation options via vans or buses, following fixed routes while being charged hourly or per mile. The program also accommodates pre-payment, credit card, check, cash, and Medicaid options, with door-to-door or curb-to-curb services available. Moreover, passengers are allowed to have service animals accompany them and may request a driver to wait during errands or appointments.
