Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Medical Transportation program offers a valuable service to older adults who may have difficulty getting to their medical appointments. This program relies on donations to provide free transportation for medical rides, although contributions are greatly appreciated. To utilize this service, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days ahead of time.
Rides are shared with other passengers and are provided via a comfortable van that accommodates multiple riders. The program ensures convenient curb-to-curb transportation, assisting older adults from their pick-up location to their destination. By using the Medical Transportation program, older adults can access the medical care they need without worrying about the challenges of getting to and from appointments.
