Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.
Transportation Service is a community program that offers affordable transportation options to support older adults in maintaining their independence and mobility. Riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $3.00 per trip, but no one is turned away due to inability to pay. The program offers assistance with packages or bags and provides shared rides to help reduce costs and environmental impact.
Rides must be scheduled at least a few days in advance, with transportation provided via a comfortable van service. Curb-to-curb transportation ensures that older adults can be picked up and dropped off safely at their desired locations. Whether attending medical appointments, running errands, or visiting friends, Transportation Service is dedicated to ensuring that older adults have access to the transportation they need to remain active and engaged in their communities.
