The Social Services transportation program offers affordable transportation options for older adults needing non-medical trips. Pricing is $3 each way for trips under 10 miles, and $10 each way for trips over 10 miles. Riders can pay either by check or in cash for their convenience. The program utilizes vans to provide curb-to-curb transportation, allowing older adults to travel safely and comfortably. Riders are required to schedule their trips at least a few days in advance to ensure availability.
Additionally, the program permits riders to be accompanied by service animals, enhancing accessibility for those who rely on these companions.
