Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Dignified Senior Transportation program offers a convenient and affordable way for older adults to access transportation services in their community. Through the program, individuals can schedule shared rides via van for local trips or longer distances by making a donation of $1.00 each way for local transports and $2.00 each way for longer distances. Additional monetary donations are also welcome to support the program's operations.
To utilize the Dignified Senior Transportation program, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days prior to their intended trip. Payments for the transportation services can be made by cash or check, providing flexibility for participants.
