Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, you have a disability, or you are a veteran. No membership is required.

The Transportation Access Program offers an affordable and convenient transportation option for older adults residing in the City of Jackson. With a simple flat rate of $5 per trip within the city, this program is accessible to those with Medicaid coverage. By utilizing specially-equipped vans, older adults can rely on safe and reliable transportation services, operating primarily from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. To utilize this service, riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, ensuring efficient curb-to-curb transportation for those needing to reach medical appointments, social outings, or run essential errands. Moreover, this program is committed to providing flexibility beyond the standard operating hours, including late evenings and weekends, to cater to the varied needs of older adults in the community.
