Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Services program offers a convenient and affordable way for older adults to access transportation services within the community. Riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $3.00 - $6.00 per one-way trip, but the program is free of charge to ensure accessibility to all older adults. Rides must be scheduled in advance, typically a few days prior, and can be paid for using either cash or check.
Participants can benefit from shared rides in comfortable vans, ensuring a social and cost-effective transportation option. The program's curb-to-curb service provides older adults with convenient door-to-door transportation, enhancing their mobility and independence. By utilizing the Transportation Services program, older adults can seamlessly navigate their local area and participate in various activities with ease.
