The Demand Response/Public Transportation program is a convenient public transit service offering various pricing options for older adults. Riders can access different services at Circleville Rates and In-County Rates based on their specific needs. Immediate Response rides, available with a one-hour notice, are priced at $3.00 for Circleville and $3 plus $1 per mile for In-County trips. Demand Response rides, which require a 24-hour notice, are priced at $1.00 for Circleville and $1 plus $1 per mile for In-County trips. The Flex Bus service is provided free of charge. E&D clients are eligible for a 50% discount on the base rates, excluding per-mile charges. To utilize this program, older adults must schedule their rides a few days in advance and payments can be made by check or cash. The program offers shared van rides and provides curb-to-curb transportation for added convenience. Riders can access transportation services via vans for a safe and comfortable journey to their destinations.
