Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Daily Transportation program offers a vital lifeline for older adults who may face challenges with mobility or driving. This program provides a convenient and cost-effective way for older adults to get around town, with the service being completely free, although donations are encouraged. Riders can book their trips with ease, but it's recommended to schedule rides a few days in advance to ensure availability. Transportation is provided through comfortable vans, ensuring a safe and reliable journey for passengers. The program offers curb-to-curb service, meaning older adults can be picked up and dropped off right at their desired locations. Whether it's a medical appointment, a grocery run, or a social visit, the Daily Transportation program aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and staying connected to their community.

Service Area

Transportation for medical appointments must be within Franklin County or no more than ten miles from 360 West Waterloo if in a neighboring county (Fairfield, Pickaway, etc.). Transportation for personal appointments must be within Franklin County, no more than 10 miles of Canal Winchester Human Services. Transportation for personal needs trips like hair and beauty appointments must be within Canal Winchester or locales in close proximity (Lithopolis, Groveport, etc.) in an effort to operate efficiently and support local businesses.
