Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.

Public Transportation is a donation-based program that offers affordable and convenient transportation services for older adults aged 60 and above. For out-of-county trips, such as Marion, Mansfield, and Columbus, the program requests a donation ranging from $25 to $40 for round trips on specific days of the week. Within the county, older adults can travel between cities for a donation of $4 for a one-way trip, or within the same city for $3. Disabled passengers within the county can avail of transportation for $2 per one-way trip, with proof of disability required. To use this program, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides a few days in advance. The program is free of charge and offers shared van rides that ensure cost-effective and environmentally friendly transportation. Riders can enjoy door-to-door service, adding convenience to their travel experience. By providing affordable and accessible transportation options, Public Transportation aims to support older adults in staying connected, independent, and engaged in their communities.
