Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact City of Brooklyn: Dignified Senior Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 65+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Dignified Senior Transportation program is a wonderful initiative that aims to provide older adults with safe and reliable transportation services. This program operates on a donation basis, with riders encouraged to contribute what they can. One of the great aspects of this program is that tipping is not allowed, removing any financial burden for older adults on fixed incomes. To arrange a ride through the Dignified Senior Transportation program, riders will need to schedule their transportation a few days in advance. The program offers free transportation services using vans, ensuring that older adults can get to their destinations comfortably and efficiently. When booking a ride through this program, riders can expect convenient curb-to-curb transportation, making it easier for them to get to where they need to go.
