Pricing for rides under this program includes an adult regular fare of $4.75 per ride and a discounted fare of $2.35 per ride for seniors and individuals with disabilities who have applied and been approved for the reduced rate. Riders utilizing the General Public Dial-a-Ride program are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days ahead of time. Payments for rides can be made in cash or by check, with exact change required as the program does not accept pennies. The program aims to provide a convenient and reliable transportation option for older adults and individuals with disabilities who may face challenges using traditional public transportation services.
