The Transportation Service program offers a convenient and affordable way for older adults to access transportation via bus or train. Riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $1.00 per ride, however, the program is free of charge. To utilize this service, older adults must schedule their rides in advance, usually a few days beforehand, and have the option to pay by check. One of the benefits of this program is the provision of shared rides, allowing older adults to connect with others in the community. Additionally, door-to-door transportation is provided for added convenience and accessibility. Whether running errands, attending appointments, or socializing, the Transportation Service program strives to meet the mobility needs of older adults in the area.
