United We Ride is a community transportation program that offers shared van rides for older adults who may have difficulty accessing traditional transportation options. This program operates on a donation basis, making it affordable and accessible for older adults with varying financial means. Riders are required to schedule their trips at least one week in advance, ensuring that their transportation needs can be met in a timely manner. United We Ride provides curb-to-curb transportation, meaning that older adults will be picked up and dropped off directly at their specified locations. This service is especially beneficial for those who may have mobility challenges or need assistance getting to their destinations. By offering a convenient and cost-effective transportation solution, United We Ride helps older adults stay connected to their community and maintain their independence.
