Please make sure to contact City of Middletown: Senior Shuttle to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, religious services, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Senior Shuttle program offers older adults in the community the convenience of door-to-door transportation services. Riders are encouraged to schedule their rides at least one day in advance to ensure availability. The program operates on a donation basis, with a suggested amount of $1.00 per ride, but it is free of charge for all users. One of the highlights of the Senior Shuttle program is its provision of shared rides, allowing multiple riders to travel together, which not only promotes social interaction but also helps reduce individual transportation costs. When booking a ride through this program, older adults can enjoy a hassle-free experience as they are picked up and dropped off directly at their desired locations. This service aims to enhance mobility and independence for older adults, making it easier for them to access essential services, social activities, and appointments within the community.
