Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 65+ years old, or you have a disability.

The Paratransit Service is a specialized transportation program designed to provide affordable and convenient transportation options for individuals with disabilities or limitations that prevent them from using traditional public transportation services. This program offers transportation via bus or train, allowing older adults to travel to their desired destinations within the area. One of the key features of the Paratransit Service is its shared ride system, which allows multiple riders to share the same vehicle, reducing costs and making transportation more environmentally friendly. To use this service, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days prior to their desired travel date. The pricing structure of the Paratransit Service is simple and affordable, with a base fare of $2.50 for all riders and a discounted rate of $1.00 for older adults aged 60 and over during off-peak hours (except 6-9am and 4-7pm on weekdays). Payments for the service can be made in cash or by check, providing flexibility for older adults with different payment preferences. Additionally, the program offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that riders are safely and conveniently picked up and dropped off at their desired locations.
