Transportation Service is a free program designed to provide older adults with efficient transportation options. This program offers private rides using cars, buses, or trains, ensuring flexibility in travel arrangements. Donations are gladly accepted to support the continuation of this valuable service. With on-demand scheduling available, older adults can easily request transportation based on their individual needs. One notable feature of Transportation Service is its door-to-door transportation, offering convenience and accessibility to older adults who may require assistance getting to their destination. Additionally, the program operates on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing for trips to be scheduled up to two weeks in advance for in-county travels. For out-of-county trips, scheduling further in advance may be necessary to accommodate the longer distance. Traveling via vans is also an option provided by this program, catering to older adults' diverse transportation needs.
