Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.

The Volunteer Transportation program offers a convenient and reliable way for older adults to get around by utilizing donated transportation services. Through this program, older adults can access rides in cars, free of charge, thanks to the generosity of donors. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, typically a few days beforehand, to ensure availability. This program facilitates shared rides, allowing multiple individuals traveling in the same direction to make the most of the service. When making arrangements for transportation through the Volunteer Transportation program, passengers can expect curb-to-curb service, where the driver picks them up from their point of origin and drops them off at their destination. By providing this essential service, Volunteer Transportation aims to support older adults in their mobility needs, promoting independence and enhancing their access to the community.
