Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Senior Transportation program offers convenient and flexible transportation options for older adults who require non-emergency medical transportation or assistance getting around. Riders can schedule private rides in advance, allowing for peace of mind and efficient planning. This program utilizes various vehicles such as taxis, cars, vans, buses, or trains to accommodate different needs and preferences.
Payment for services can be made through insurance, Medicaid, vouchers, donations, checks, pre-payment, credit cards, or cash, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. Additionally, the option for on-demand scheduling and shared rides provides convenience and cost-saving benefits for riders. The program's focus on door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation ensures that older adults can travel safely and comfortably to their desired destinations. Service animals are also welcome on board, allowing older adults to maintain their independence and mobility with ease.

Pickups are made inBallston, Charlton, Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Malta, and Mechanicville. Medical trips may be scheduled to locations outside of this service area including to Albany, Saratoga, Schenectedy, and Troy.
