The program offers a flexible payment system, accommodating payments by check, credit card, or in cash, to ensure ease of access for all participants.
One key feature of Independence Express is its door-to-door service, providing a seamless experience for older adults from their homes to their desired drop-off locations. By offering transportation on a fee-for-service basis, with a charge of $15.00 each way plus an additional $0.50 per mile, the program ensures affordability and accessibility to a wide range of destinations.
To utilize this program, riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, allowing for smooth coordination and planning.
