For a flat fee of $2.50 per town zone each way, riders can access safe and reliable transportation services. Additionally, for those who may have difficulty affording the full cost of rides, an income-based subsidy program is available, supported by the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey and the Plafsky Family Endowment Fund.
This program specializes in providing paratransit services, ensuring that older adults with mobility challenges have access to the transportation they need. Riders can schedule shared van rides with Metro Transport Senior Transportation, with bookings required at least a few days in advance to guarantee availability.
Riders can pay for their transportation in cash and will receive curb-to-curb service, offering a seamless and convenient experience from pickup to drop-off. With a focus on meeting the transportation needs of older adults, Metro Transport Senior Transportation is dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and stay connected to their community.
