The Paratransit/Senior Transportation program offers accessible transportation services for older adults in the community. While the program is free of charge, riders are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $2.00 per trip to support the service. Donation boxes and envelopes are available on each vehicle for convenience. This paratransit program operates on a shared ride system, utilizing vans to provide curb-to-curb transportation for older adults to their desired destinations. Payments for the service can be made in cash or by check, offering flexibility for riders. By providing a reliable and convenient transportation option, this program aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and staying connected to their community.
