This program offers convenient transportation options, primarily through taxis, ensuring older adults can attend medical appointments, run errands, or socialize with ease. Riders can schedule rides in advance, typically requiring at least one day's notice, and have the flexibility to pay for services using insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, or Medicaid payments. With an hourly rate of $20 and a 3-hour minimum, Companion Care with Transportation provides cost-effective transportation solutions. Additionally, the program offers the convenience of on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and assistance with packages or bags. Riders can expect door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services, with the option of a driver waiting during appointments or errands. Service animals are also welcome on board, adding to the comfort and accessibility of the program for older adults.
