Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Volunteer Driver Program offers convenient transportation services for older adults. This program allows older adults to travel by car or van, with the option for shared rides to common destinations. The program operates on a donation basis, with a suggested fare of $5 one way for all senior passengers. Additional costs such as tolls and parking fees are to be paid by the passenger at the time of occurrence. Payments can be made by cash or check, providing flexibility for older adults using the service. For specialized medical appointments outside of Hunterdon County, older adults can request transportation by calling 1-800-842-0531 at least 2 weeks in advance. The program ensures a seamless experience by offering curb-to-curb transportation, making it easier for older adults to access essential services and appointments. The Volunteer Driver Program is designed to meet the transportation needs of older adults, supporting their independence and well-being.
