Share A Fare is a convenient transportation program designed to assist older adults in getting around via taxi service. Participants have the option to use vouchers or coupons to access this service, providing flexibility and ease of use. Each month, individuals are able to purchase up to 3 coupon books, each with a value of $75. To access rides, participants pay only 50% of the cost, amounting to $37.50 per book. There is no restriction on the number of coupons that can be used per trip, allowing for cost-effective travel solutions.
This program works in collaboration with Happy Cab and City Taxi, enabling participants to utilize a combination of both services. Additionally, Share A Fare frequently offers special promotions and discounts on coupon books, which can be explored on their website. Participants have the freedom to schedule rides on demand, ensuring transportation is readily available when needed. With curb-to-curb service, participants can rely on this program for convenient and efficient transportation to various destinations.
